Baba Residence
This historic residence belonged to the Baba family, leading shipowners and merchants who flourished from the late Edo period and rose to prominence as one of the "Five Great Kitamae-bune Shipowners" of the Hokuriku region. A must-see for anyone seeking to understand the history of Iwase. The rice storehouse, beyond the earthen-floor passageway, now houses the KOBO Brew Pub.
