Issho
Issho is the directly operated shop of Maruhachi Seichajo, a long-established producer and purveyor of Kaga bocha—a local variety of roasted twig tea—founded in 1863. The café serves the company’s signature Kenjo Kaga Bocha (”Kaga Bocha for the Emperor”), made from only the finest tea stems. Visitors can also opt instead for their preferred flavor of hojicha (roasted green tea) from a carefully curated selection of varieties and roasts.
