Perched on a hillside above the Higashichayagai district, this long-established ryokan and restaurant is renowned for being the former retreat of the renowned artist Rosanjin Kitaoji. Each guest room is a private, standalone unit offering views of black-tiled rooftops and the inn's garden. Non-staying guests are also welcome for meals (reservation required), where they can enjoy a multi-course cuisine showcasing seasonal, local ingredients presented in thoughtfully selected tableware.
